At Milkdot Inc. (”Milkdot”) our primary objective is to provide our Web Site customers with originally designed, quality and safe products. Our products are designed in our studio in New York City.
Milkdot products have been thoroughly tested for lead and phthalates by a Consumer Product Safety Commission third-party accredited lab and meets the guidelines of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act for lead and phthalates.

Do you test your materials before every new production?
YES

Does the factory you use follow social compliance standards?
YES, our products are responsibly made in China and they have passed the Sedex Audit

Why do some descriptions say Lead-Safe?
Lead occurs naturally in trace amounts throughout the environment. Because of this fact, it is not always possible to get a lead result of 0ppm (parts per million). If our product says lead-safe, you can rest assured that it has been tested CPSIA-compliant.

Returns and exchanges
Your Milkdot product on arrival should be free from defects in materials and workmanship. All defective items must be returned for inspection and will be replaced at our discretion. Damages caused by normal wear (i.e., zipper wear) and the natural breakdown of materials, accidents, improper care or use do not qualify for returns or exchanges. 

If you are not 100% satisfied with your product purchase from this Site, you may return the product for a refund or exchange under the conditions as follows:

Milkdot must be contacted within 10 days after you have received the product explaining the reason for the return or exchange. The goods must be returned to Milkdot in new and unused condition with their original tags and packaging. Please include a copy of your order receipt and order number. All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Please ensure that your package has a tracking number and that shipping charges are prepaid. Without a tracking number, we will not be able to track lost packages.

Returns for orders over $200 are subject to a restocking fee that will not exceed 5% of the original total order cost.

What if I was shipped the wrong product?
If you were shipped the wrong product, Milkdot must be contacted immediately after you discover the error. The goods must be returned to Milkdot in new and unused condition with their original tags and packaging. Please include a copy of your order receipt and order number. Milkdot will arrange for the shipping of the product back to our location. After inspection and confirmation that the product qualifies for replacement, Milkdot will ship the correct product, at no additional cost.

What if my product arrived damaged? 
If you discover shipping damage and damage to the product, you must contact Milkdot immediately. Milkdot will arrange for the shipping of the product back to our location. After inspection and confirmation that the product qualifies for replacement, Milkdot will ship a replacement product, at no additional cost.

Can I contact Milkdot if I purchased one of your products from another retailer?
We advise first contacting the retailer where you originally purchased your Milkdot product but you are welcome to contact us if you have any questions.

What is your warranty on your products?

If your purchase was made from our website and we conclude that the Milkdot product you received is defective, Milkdot will ship a replacement product, at no additional cost. Please note that products purchased through a Milkdot retailer with a valid receipt that are deemed defective will be replaced but shipping charges will apply.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do for some countries. When placing your order, our website will let you know if your country is eligible for shipping. Orders will ship by USPS First Class International only. Please note that any customs or duty fees will be the recipient's responsibility.

How do I clean Milkdot products?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent if needed. Wipe dry and allow to air dry. We do not recommend machine washing or using a machine dryer. Should you decide you would like to try washing our product in a washing machine, you may want to try a gentle cycle and place the bag fully zipped inside a pillow case to prevent the milkdot logo from getting scratched, however, please note that we cannot be responsible for any damages caused by the individual's washing machine. Allow to air dry only.
